Caving in Slovenia 05

The best known caving area in Slovenia is the Notranjska Karst,  a large land-locked region in the south-west of the country which is riddled with extensive cave systems the largest of which  is Postojna jama, the  famous  show cave which links underground with the Rak river system of Planinska Jama, both these are guided trips and are very impressive in scale and contain a verity of cave adapted species,

All the caves pictured here are within easy driving distance of  speleo camp the base for explorations.
